PLAINS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WOLF) \u2014 Highway 315 is closed in both directions in Plains as police and fire crews respond to a fatal accident that has diverted traffic onto the road in front of Mohegan Pennsylvania casino.<\/p>\n
Luzerne County\u2019s coroner is responding, and Pennsylvania State Police accident investigators are on scene assisting Plains Township police.<\/p>\n
An apparent body is covered in the roadway. A fatality was confirmed, but authorities had not released details about what happened.<\/p>\n
The road was shrouded in fog and visibility was limited to a few hundred feet. Investigators were seen discussing the accident with two women who were in a vehicle that was involved.<\/p>\n
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and follow police directions. <\/p>\n
The incident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
