The Berks County District Attorney provided an update on the disappearance and presumed death of 23-year-old Michael Petrino Jr. of Lebanon County, who has been missing since March.

""""

Reading police said Petrino Jr. was lured to Reading on March 25 after a bounty was placed on him. Investigators said he was assaulted, taken to a secluded location, bound, and placed in another vehicle.

“This investigation is unusual in the fact that we have not discovered a body. However, through the exhaustive search by the Reading Police Department and other agencies that were brought into this investigation, we believe there is probable cause to conclude that Michael Petrino is deceased and his disappearance was not voluntary,” Berks County District Attorney John Adams said.

Eight people have been arrested in connection with Petrino Jr.’s disappearance, including 21-year-old Luke Foxx and 23-year-old Josiah Vaux, who were arrested last week.

Police and U.S. Marshals believe Foxx and Vaux tied Petrino up and placed him in the vehicle. Both face charges of second-degree murder, kidnapping, and other offenses.

The Berks County District Attorney provided an update on the disappearance and presumed death of 23-year-old Michael Petrino…

[11
128401,128398,73274,349,128393,1056,128396,3627,128400,1021,1055,127718,3626,15614,2467,128399,127719,128395,8372,128394,69364,51833,28,128397,206,128392,736,128,130,129,1751,26528,22881,6967
post-314819","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-reading","tag-21-year-old-luke-foxx","tag-23-year-old-michael-petrino-jr","tag-assaulted","tag-berks-county","tag-berks-county-da","tag-berks-county-district-attorney","tag-body-not-found","tag-disappearance","tag-foxx","tag-investigation","tag-john-adams","tag-josiah-vaux","tag-kidnapping","tag-last-week","tag-lebanon-county","tag-lebanon-man","tag-luke-foxx","tag-lured-to-reading","tag-march","tag-march-25","tag-michael-petrino-jr","tag-missing-man","tag-pennsylvania","tag-petrino-jr","tag-police","tag-presumed-death","tag-reading","tag-reading-city","tag-reading-city-headlines","tag-reading-city-news","tag-reading-police","tag-second-degree-murder","tag-u-s-marshals","tag-vehicle
["GET
