The facility is expected to open in late 2027 and will include 11 emergency room beds and 10 inpatient beds. Like other Jefferson neighborhood hospitals, it will operate 24 hours a day, year-round, as a licensed and accredited acute care facility with a full-service emergency department. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"VEIOT4LDXZCKDIFXQGMTORRSPA\">A Health Center at Coopersburg will also be built on the same site, offering adult rehabilitation, rheumatology, primary care and additional services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"E3CWQNYN6VBU3MCZ36BO4VNJWI\">\u201cBreaking ground on our fifth neighborhood hospital is an exciting milestone for Jefferson and the communities we serve,\u201d Dr. Baligh Yehia, MD, president of Jefferson Health, said in the news release. \u201cLVH\u2013Coopersburg represents our ongoing effort to anticipate and respond to the evolving healthcare needs of our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"WOFFVYPUDFCFZIROZHQRGCFYYI\">Jefferson already operates three neighborhood hospitals in the region \u2014 LVH\u2013Macungie, LVH\u2013Gilbertsville and LVH\u2013Pocono Creek.
