There are currently about 1,700 public parking spaces.<\/p>\n<p>The parking garage will be built within the short-term parking lot. A new elevated pedestrian walkway will also be built.<\/p>\n<p>The walkway will provide a protected and direct connection from the parking garage to the ticket level of the Main Terminal, the news release said.<\/p>\n<p>The parking garage will include <a href=\"https:\/\/parksmart.parking-mobility.org\/certification\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Parksmart<\/a> certification, which recognizes high-performing, sustainable garages.
