<\/p>\n Gracedale Nursing Home faces patient safety, communication, security issues, grand jury report says<\/a><\/p>\n
The county thanked Morton for her service to the county-run nursing home in Upper Nazareth Township and recognized this leadership transition as an opportunity to strengthen the facility and move forward with a renewed sense of direction and accountability.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur priority throughout this transition is to maintain continuity of care for our residents while providing our employees with the leadership and resources they need to succeed,\u201d said Tom Carson, director of continuum of care. \u201cWe have an opportunity to build on Gracedale\u2019s foundation, address ongoing challenges, and establish a sustainable path forward that meets the evolving needs of our residents and the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
The county says Assistant Nursing Home Administrator Christina Casey will serve as acting nursing home administrator following Morton’s departure, while the county searches for a qualified candidate to permanently fill the position.<\/p>\n
