He was serving that probation in connection with guilty pleas to aggravated assault and firearm charges. He was also wanted for an unrelated firearm charge filed out of the City of Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Detectives received information Wednesday morning saying Freeman-Johnson was at a house on Highland Avenue in Turtle Creek.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Authorities were allowed inside the house after knocking on the door and announcing themselves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Freeman-Johnson was found under those clothes bags in the back corner of a small room.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">He was taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Allegheny County Jail. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/https:\/\/cloudfront-us-east-1.images.arcpublishing.com\/cmg\/I3DJLVTNSRFL7HMSZWPA6JTG5I.png\" width=\"1440\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"ImageMetadata__MetadataParagraph-sc-1htor29-0 jibCgM image-metadata\">East Pittsburgh fugitive found hiding under bags of old clothing in Turtle Creek A spokesperson for the Allegheny County Sheriff\u2019s Office said D\u2019Andre Freeman-Johnson, 24, of East Pittsburgh, was taken into custody after spending about a month on the run.
