PITTSBURGH \u2014 Two new bills are designed to make it easier to build homes in the City of Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n
Mayor Corey O\u2019Connor signed the two zoning reforms Thursday.<\/p>\n
The first gives developers incentives if they build affordable housing units and gets rid of the minimum off-street parking space requirement.<\/p>\n
Plus, the package allows accessory dwelling units, which are smaller, standalone living spaces that share the lot of a larger home.<\/p>\n
The second bill attempts to simplify and modernize the city\u2019s zoning code.
