ALLENTOWN, Pa. \u2014 A woman accused of planting a noose on her own desk in Allentown City Hall again waived her right to a hearing on charges against her. <\/p>\n
LaTarsha Brown was due to appear Tuesday in Lehigh County Court, but instead waived her formal arraignment.<\/p>\n
Brown is charged with making false reports and tampering with or fabricating evidence.<\/p>\n
Brown reported finding a noose Jan. 10 on her desk in City Hall, where she works for Allentown\u2019s Department of Community and Economic Development.<\/p>\n

Protesters demonstrated that week outside the municipal government\u2019s headquarters, demanding the FBI aid the city police department\u2019s investigation into the noose.<\/p>\n
State Police also joined the investigation; its Forensic DNA Division found Brown’s DNA profile matched samples from the outer surfaces of the noose and inner knotted areas, Allentown Capt. Steve Milkovits said in March while announcing charges against Brown.<\/p>\n
Brown told police she picked up the item and didn\u2019t immediately recognize it as a noose.<\/p>\n
