Ross Triola found the back of the net for the home team at 15:07 after receiving a pass from Cam Tennant for the even-strength goal and a 1-0 lead heading into the second.<\/p>\n
Connellsville\u2019s TJ Snyder set-up Bennett Stull for the game-tying goal at 5:15 of the middle period before Sam Denny sent home the game winner at 6:52 of the second. Nolan Wojnar assisted on Denny\u2019s goal. <\/p>\n
Logan Hause put in an unassisted tally at 9:14 of the second. His second goal came at 15:31 for a 4-1 advantage. Stull and Aiden Pletcher assisted on Hause\u2019s second goal.<\/p>\n
Riley Denny added an unassisted goal at 6:52 of the third period to put the game out of reach.<\/p>\n
The Falcons outshot McDowell, 36-17. Both teams were 0-for-5 on the power play with McDowell going 0-for-3 and Connellsville 0-for-2.<\/p>\n
Falcons goalie Nick Daniels-Nimick stopped 16 shots and Dillon Martin made 31 saves for the home team.<\/p>\n
Connellsville sits in second place in the Varsity Division 2 Gold standings behind Knoch (5-3-1-0, 17 points).
