<\/p>\nOne lucky Pennsylvania woman is $1 million richer. <\/p>\n
Officials from the Pennsylvania Lottery presented a commemorative check to the winner of a recent $1 million Powerball ticket, which was sold for the Saturday, November 1, drawing. <\/p>\n
The check presentation was held at GIANT, located at 4655 Perkiomen Avenue in Exeter Township, right where the million-dollar winning ticket was sold.<\/p>\n
The winner,\u00a0Debbie Truckermiller of Berks County, shared that she occasionally plays Powerball, especially when the jackpot is high. At that time, the jackpot stood at an estimated annuity worth $400 million, or $190.7 million in cash. <\/p>\n
\u201cI was there doing some grocery shopping,\u201d said\u00a0Truckermiller. \u201cI didn\u2019t find out I won until Monday, November 3.\u201d<\/p>\n
Truckermiller explained that she was washing the dishes when she thought to check her ticket to find out if it was a winner.<\/p>\n
\u201cI saw something on Facebook that our local TV station had posted and thought, \u2018Oh, I should check my ticket!\u2019\u201d said Truckermiller. \u201cI immediately yelled for my husband! I was jumping up and down and he kept saying, \u2018Give me a minute, let me find my glasses.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Truckermiller shared that after it sank in for her and her husband, they called their two adult children to share the great news. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think we\u2019ll help them pay off some student loans, do some renovations, vacation, and invest,\u201d said Truckermiller, who said she works in the finance industry. \u201cWe love to travel and go to sporting events. Our favorite football team is the Eagles, of course!\u201d<\/p>\n
Lottery officials said Truckermiller\u2019s ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 2-26-43-44-62, but not the red Powerball 22, to win $1 million.<\/p>\n

The retailer, where Truckermiller’s winning ticket was sold, will receive a $5,000 bonus. <\/p>\n
