SHILLINGTON, Pa. – A Berks County man is making strides in his bid to raise awareness about the importance of mental health.<\/p>\n

Ultra-marathoner Brendan Morgan of Shillington is running across Pennsylvania, from one end all the way to the other, and Thursday he’s hoping to reach the finish line.<\/p>\n

Brendan crossed into our portion of the state Wednesday, and his home county. Our cameras were able to spot him on Penn Avenue in the Wernersville area.<\/p>\n

It’s part of his 341-mile across the state run that he started near Pittsburgh on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Brendan is raising awareness and funds for the National Alliance on Mental Illness<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brendan was in Exeter, gearing up for his last leg of his run. He is expected to run just over 60 miles Thursday to finish at the Washington Crossing Bridge.<\/p>\n
