At least one person was shot late Friday in Upper Darby.<\/p>\n
That was a 25-year-old male with a gunshot wound to a leg. One of the township officers applied a tourniquet to that leg before the victim was transported to a hospital, according to police radio traffic.<\/p>\n

Officers just off Hampden Road reported hearing multiple shots fired about 11:15 p.m. Officers converged behind George\u2019s Water Ice, 7150 Marshall Road, where two witnesses were found.<\/p>\n
Soon, the man with the leg wound was found.<\/p>\n
Police began closing off Hampden and Marshall roads.\u00a0Soon, more units were needed for crowd control as officers attempted to establish a crime scene.<\/p>\n
A resident in the 400 block of Glendale Road reported a bullet through a window. A crime scene was established in an alley off the 400 block of Glendale Road.<\/p>\n
Though there was discussion of a second victim, the radio traffic was inconclusive.<\/p>\n
As the time passed, witnesses were taken to the headquarters to make statements, and evidence recovery included finding more bullets holes related to the shooting.<\/p>\n
