{"id":36689,"date":"2025-11-17T16:50:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-17T16:50:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/36689\/"},"modified":"2025-11-17T16:50:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T16:50:07","slug":"driver-dies-after-pickup-truck-crashes-into-boulders-rolls-down-embankment-in-allegheny-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/36689\/","title":{"rendered":"Driver dies after pickup truck crashes into boulders, rolls down embankment in Allegheny County"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">FAWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. \u2014 A man is dead after a pickup truck crashed into boulders in Allegheny County.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Pennsylvania State Police said a 27-year-old man was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado on Millerstown Road in Fawn Township at 9:20 p.m. on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Troopers believe the truck went off the road while traveling on a left curve. It entered the right shoulder and hit boulders that were located to the side of it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">This caused the truck to roll down an embankment. The driver was ejected through the driver\u2019s side door window and died from his injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Police have identified him as Scott R.
