A 32-year-old Allentown<\/a> woman is accused of stabbing a man during an altercation at her city home.<\/p>\n

Cassarah Brown, 32, of the 300 block of West Linden Street, is charged with felony aggravated assault; misdemeanor simple assault; and summary harassment. She was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Rashid Santiago, who set bail at 10 percent of $7,500.<\/p>\n

In lieu of bail, Brown was taken to the Lehigh County Jail. <\/a>Court records did not immediately show attorney representation for Brown.<\/p>\n

Investigators on Tuesday morning found a man at Brown\u2019s home bleeding from his left hand, city police said.<\/p>\n

The victim reported arriving at the home as Brown allegedly was destroying his belongings. The victim does not live with Brown, but was in a romantic relationship with her prior to the altercation, court records state.<\/p>\n

The victim was stabbed with a pocket knife when he went to kiss Brown, city police said.<\/p>\n

Investigators seized the alleged weapon used in the stabbing. Brown was arrested at her home. The victim\u2019s injuries are being described as minor by police.<\/p>\n

She is due back in court for a preliminary hearing tentatively scheduled for 10 a.m. Nov. 24 before Santiago. A judge will then determine if there\u2019s sufficient evidence to send the case toward trial at the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas.<\/p>\n
