Two local businesses have united to support Berks County families in need this Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n
Gourmand Cafe and JPrutzman Enterprises are collecting monetary donations through Nov. 21 to provide $200 Shillington Grocery Outlet gift cards to ensure families receive meaningful support for Thanksgiving and beyond.<\/p>\n
\u201cUniting our efforts has amplified what we\u2019re able to do,\u201d said Jessica Prutzman, president of JPrutzman Enterprises. \u201cTogether with this incredible community, we\u2019re creating a bigger, stronger impact for families who need it.\u201d<\/p>\n
For every $189.99 in donations the businesses receive, a $200 gift card to the grocery outlet will be given. Families will also get gift cards from Gourmand Cafe and Berks Deals & Steals.<\/p>\n

Nominations for families in need can be submitted by sending private messages on the Facebook pages of Gourmand, JPrutzman Enterprises or Berks Deals & Steals<\/p>\n
Participating businesses will be recognized across partner social media platforms, featured on six digital billboards throughout Berks, and entered into a drawing for a complimentary catered employee lunch \u2014 a small gesture of appreciation for their generosity.<\/p>\n
