A homicide investigation is underway in Norristown, Pennsylvania, officials said. <\/p>\n
According to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, the incident unfolded on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, around 2 p.m. at 806 Dekalb Street in Norristown. <\/p>\n
Officials said officers initially responded to the 200 block of Jacoby Street after receiving reports of a single-vehicle accident. When they got to the scene, they found that a vehicle had struck a utility pole.<\/p>\n
Inside the vehicle, officials said, officers found the driver, identified as 38-year-old Eric King, of Conshohocken, bleeding from a single stab wound. <\/p>\n
Officials shared that King was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. <\/p>\n
According to officials, a joint investigation by Norristown Police and Montgomery County Detectives found that just before the crash, King had been involved in a verbal and physical dispute with a woman at 806 Dekalb Street. <\/p>\n
The woman, whom King knew, has been interviewed by the police.
