THE OWNER OF THE MOON DANCER WINERY IN WRIGHTSVILLE SAYS THEY ARE PERMANENTLY CLOSING THEIR DOORS. THAT RULING FROM THE COMMONWEALTH\u2019S HIGHEST COURT THAT ENDS A LONG RUNNING BATTLE BETWEEN THE BUSINESS AND A COUPLE WHO BOUGHT A HOME NEXT DOOR, WHO ARGUE THAT MOON DANCER WAS RUNNING AN ILLEGAL AGRICULTURAL OPERATION. THE FIRST COMPLAINT WAS FILED BACK IN 2018, AND AFTER BEING FORCED TO CLOSE BY THE COURTS TEMPORARILY SO MANY TIMES, THE STATE SUPREME COURT REJECTED THE WINERY\u2019S FINAL. FINAL APPEAL. OWNER JIM MILLER SAID IN A STATEMENT TODAY THAT HE\u2019S SAD TO SAY THE LOSS TO SEE THE LOSS IN FIGHT MUST CLOSE HIS BELOVED WINERY.
