On Nov. 19, at the Wesleyville Borough Hall, a town hall meeting was held to inform community members that the fire department will no longer be operating an ambulance service.<\/p>\n
Wesleyville Fire Chief John Wiercinski wants to get the word out\u2014the department needs help, and they need it now.<\/p>\n
In September, the Wesleyville Hose Company voted to discontinue Basic Life Support ambulance service operations and transition to a Quick Response Service model for EMS calls.<\/p>\n
Mayor of Wesleyville Paul Johnson is urging residents to remain calm and hopes that some will step up and volunteer.<\/p>\n
