READING, Pa. – Berks Arts is getting its main stage ready for a big celebration of the blues.<\/p>\n
The 8th annual Reading Blues Fest officially starts tomorrow, and crews were loading up the stage at the DoubleTree Hotel in Reading this afternoon.<\/p>\n
There already have been some local music events. Last night, guests at Reading Liederkranz enjoyed a tribute to women in the blues.<\/p>\n
One Berks Arts organizer says they’re changing things up for this weekend and she’s hearing a lot of excitement.<\/p>\n
“We have a single show Friday, but Saturday is an all-day pass, so there’s four shows in one day on Saturday,” said Tish Davis with Berks Arts.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow, the main events pick up with an opening show at Reading’s Peanut Bar at 11:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
