Two Pennsylvania state senators will help distribute 200 free turkeys to families in need Friday afternoon at an Allentown cathedral, just in time for Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n
State Sens. Jarrett Coleman and Nick Miller will hand out the turkeys starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, 1825 W. Turner St., Allentown. <\/p>\n
The Diocese of Allentown <\/a>is coordinating the event.<\/p>\n Jaindl Farms<\/a> of Orefield donated the turkeys for the giveaway. <\/p>\n Families will also receive bags of food items from Catholic Charities, Diocese of Allentown.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are blessed with the support of Senators Coleman and Miller and the generosity of Jaindl Farms to make this food distribution possible,\u201d Bishop Alfred A.
