The vehicle failed to stop and fled from police, initiating a pursuit, according to officials. Soon after the chase began, police said the fleeing vehicle crashed along Route 41, killing the three occupants. The names of the three people who died have not yet been released. The vehicle was destroyed in the wreck. Photos from the scene show the mangled car next to a tree off the road. No troopers were injured during the incident, according to police.
