Nick Mobilia was first elected to the North East School Board in 1988.<\/p>\n<p>During his service, the district built a new elementary center, a new middle school, completed a $3.58 million turf upgrade at Ted Miller Stadium, and oversaw the hiring of four superintendents.<\/p>\n<p>And tonight, Mobilia shares his thoughts on the last 28 years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll tell you what, it was a good ride. North East School District is a great place. You know, all education has a tough time ahead of them, and we\u2019ll be successful by working together.\u201d said Mobilla, \u201cAnd that was, I think, my biggest role\u2014bringing people together.
