WASHINGTON (TNND) \u2014 A public address system at the Harrisburg International Airport was hacked on Tuesday and broadcasted a 10 minute message.<\/p>\n
The hacker who came over the system was heard saying \u201cF*** Netanyahu and Trump\u201d and \u201cFree Palestine,\u201d according to WHP<\/a>.<\/p>\n The unauthorized user said \u201cTurkish hacker Cyber Islam was here.\u201d<\/p>\n The airport said that the political message didn\u2019t demonstrate any threats to airlines or individuals on the planes.<\/p>\n U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy <\/a>addressed the recordings in a post Wednesday evening on social media platform X, calling the incident “absolutely unacceptable” and said it “understandably scared travelers”.<\/p>\n Duffy said he and the Federal Aviation Administration are working with HIA to “get to the bottom of this hack.”<\/p>\n When the message was broadcasted, there was a Delta flight that was boarding that had to be searched just to be safe, the airline told Fox News Digital<\/a>.<\/p>\n “As the safety and security of our customers and employees comes before all else, Delta followed the direction of TSA to return to the gate and complete a security check of the aircraft,\u201d a Delta spokesperson told the news outlet. \u201cWe appreciate our customers’ patience and cooperation.\u201d<\/p>\n
