Eric Karch, 53, of Jenkintown, was named one of 17 alleged child predators arrested through the Bensalem Police Department\u2019s months-long investigation into internet crimes against children, NBC10 reported<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The ongoing investigation involved Bensalem detectives posing as children. Karch was arrested on September 11<\/a> in Bensalem after taking a SEPTA bus from his Jenkintown home to meet a person he believed to be a 13-year-old female. <\/p>\n

Karch, a longtime employee of SEPTA<\/a>, was categorized by police as a \u201ctraveler\u201d alongside other suspected predators from West Chester, Mays Landing (NJ), Frederick (MD), and Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir intentions were clear to us in law enforcement,\u201d Bensalem Police Director of Public Safety William said. \u201cThey traveled to a specific location at times with condoms or candy in their possession at the time of the arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n
