ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said the death of a man who was hit by a car in Allentown was a homicide.<\/p>\n
29-year-old Rigoberto E. Hernandez Arias of Allentown\u00a0was struck and run over by a motor vehicle in the 2000 block of S. 4th Street at approximately 7:55 p.m. Friday, according to a news release from the coroner’s office.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0coroner’s office said\u00a0he was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead at 8:43 p.m. Friday in the Emergency Department of Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.<\/p>\n
The cause of death is blunt force injuries sustained in the collision, the\u00a0coroner’s office said.<\/p>\n
