(WHTM) \u2014 The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) is announcing adjustments in energy supply prices in December.<\/p>\n
The PUC says electric prices for all PUC-regulated electric utilities will change on December 1, and consumers are encouraged to contact their utilities now to discuss affordability options and assistance programs that can help them stay connected.<\/p>\n
The PUC says the following utilities will increase their prices:<\/p>\n

Duquesne Light:\u00a012.43 \u2192 13.75 \u00a2\/kWh (+10.6%)<\/p>\n
Pike County Light & Power (estimated):\u00a010.1923\u2192 11.21 \u00a2\/kWh\u00a0(+9.9%)<\/p>\n
Met-Ed:\u00a011.905 \u2192 12.965 \u00a2\/kWh (+8.9%)<\/p>\n
Penelec:\u00a011.004 \u2192 11.747 \u00a2\/kWh (+6.75%)<\/p>\n
Penn Power:\u00a011.858 \u2192 12.606 \u00a2\/kWh (+6.31%)<\/p>\n
West Penn Power:\u00a010.318 \u2192 10.947 \u00a2\/kWh (+6.1%)<\/p>\n
PECO:\u00a010.4 \u2192 11.024 \u00a2\/kWh (+6%)<\/p>\n
PPL:\u00a012.49 \u2192 12.953 \u00a2\/kWh (+3.7%)<\/p>\n
Two energy providers will also be decreasing their prices starting December 1.<\/p>\n
