borough Mayor Brian Spoales<\/a> said owners of The Grant Bar said the establishment will close this week.<\/p>\n“The Grant Bar has been far more than just a restaurant; it has been a true institution\u2014a cornerstone of our community and a reliable gathering place across three generations of families,” the post said. “For nearly a century, it has represented the very best of Millvale’s spirit: warmth, unwavering hospitality, and a deep sense of connection.”<\/p>\n
Spoales said the restaurant’s last day of operation will be Nov. 29. <\/p>\n
“We join the entire community in mourning the loss of this historical landmark,” the mayor said in the post. “As the owners rightly noted, the memories created within those walls\u2014the milestone celebrations, the quiet family dinners, the shared laughter\u2014are woven into the fabric of our borough’s history. That legacy is permanent.”<\/p>\n
It is unclear why The Grant Bar has decided to close. <\/p>\n
