Both Democratic opponents were invited to participate but did not respond.

The event offered more than just introductions – it was an education. AMAC members submitted dozens of questions, creating a dynamic and engaging dialogue with the candidates. Participants learned the key differences between the two courts, the types of cases each hears, and how Pennsylvania is unique in allowing voters to elect judges in partisan elections.

Both Battista and Wolford emphasized that judicial and district attorney races deserve the same voter attention as gubernatorial or congressional contests, given their profound impact on everyday legal outcomes in areas like crime, public safety, and regulatory policy.

Candidates shared opening statements outlining their qualifications and concluded with final appeals to voters, but the heart of the forum was the Q&A session. Members pressed the candidates on their views about constitutional interpretation, judicial activism, and the influence of ideology on the bench. Both candidates reiterated their commitment to judicial restraint and fidelity to the Constitution – principles that AMAC members deeply value.

Feedback on the event described it as “excellent” and “informative,” with many attendees expressing appreciation for the direct access they had to candidates and the thoughtful, policy-focused dialogue.

“Events like this are a powerful example of how AMAC empowers members to speak directly with future leaders and cut through the noise,” said Mangione. “At a time when courts are making major decisions on abortion, immigration, and other vital issues, voters need to be informed – and forums like this are a critical tool in that effort.” As the 2025 election season heats up and the nation turns its attention to the midterms next year, AMAC Action will continue to connect members with candidates and drive civic engagement throughout the country.

[6
4009,4010,449,4011,4012,28,30,29
0":"post-4400","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-pennsylvania","8":"tag-amac","9":"tag-candidates","10":"tag-court","11":"tag-judicial","12":"tag-members","13":"tag-pennsylvania","14":"tag-pennsylvania-headlines","15":"tag-pennsylvania-news
["GET
