The driver who struck the victim hit another car and then attempted to flee the scene on foot but was taken into custody nearby, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The crash happened near the site of the hit-and-run that killed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/philadelphia\/news\/philadelphia-accident-today-market-street-drexel\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">48-year-old Meaza Brown of South Philadelphia<\/a> last week.
