{"id":47746,"date":"2025-11-29T16:58:22","date_gmt":"2025-11-29T16:58:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/47746\/"},"modified":"2025-11-29T16:58:22","modified_gmt":"2025-11-29T16:58:22","slug":"2-pa-brothers-arrested-in-large-scale-drug-bust","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/47746\/","title":{"rendered":"2 PA brothers arrested in large-scale drug bust"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">ALLENTOWN, Pa. &#8211; Two brothers from Allentown, Pennsylvania, have been arrested in connection with a large-scale drug distribution network, with multiple kilograms of cocaine seized by officers.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"WTXF\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Jefran Canales-Tapia, 40, and Jeffrey Canales-Tapia, 37, were both taken into custody Thursday morning after search warrants were executed at their respective homes.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">According to District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan and Allentown Police Chief Charles Roca, Jefran Canales-Tapia is being charged with possession with intent to deliver and criminal conspiracy, among other charges. A total of nine kilos of cocaine, with an estimated street value in excess of $500,000, was recovered from his home.<\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/drug-bust.png\" alt=\"\" data-v-0dea8073=\"\"\/>  <\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Jeffrey Canales-Tapia is being charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver, criminal conspiracy and simple possession. A large amount of cash and a half-pound of marijuana were found at his home.<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">The investigation was a cooperative effort between officers from the Allentown Police Vice Unit and the Lehigh County Drug Task Force.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Both men are currently awaiting arraignment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"group-source-paragraph\" data-v-4fbf7207=\"\">The Source: District Attorney Gavin P.
