{"id":48805,"date":"2025-12-01T07:03:10","date_gmt":"2025-12-01T07:03:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/48805\/"},"modified":"2025-12-01T07:03:10","modified_gmt":"2025-12-01T07:03:10","slug":"erie-high-schools-tech-the-halls-to-light-up-holiday-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/48805\/","title":{"rendered":"Erie High School\u2019s Tech the Halls to light up holiday season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">(<a href=\"http:\/\/yourerie.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:WJET\/WFXP;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">WJET\/WFXP<\/a>) \u2014\u00a0Erie High School is kicking off the holiday season with a brilliant and bright tradition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Tech the Halls features a student-created light display synchronized to holiday music.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Students in engineering, construction, marketing, digital media and computer programming all had a hand in planning and creating the display.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In creating the display, the students learn trade and life skills like time and project management.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.yourerie.com\/news\/local-news\/lake-city-man-decorates-home-for-a-good-cause\/?ipid=promo-link-block1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Lake City man decorates home for a good cause;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\"> Lake City man decorates home for a good cause <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The lights will be synced to the festive music broadcast from the student-built radio station.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">From 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., there will be items for sale in the front lobby of the school.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This year\u2019s theme is Aliens at Christmas and will run every night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Thursday, December 4, to Monday, January 5, 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The display takes place on the front lawn of Erie High School at 3325 Cherry St.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
