REDBANK TWP., Pa. (EYT) \u2014 A New Bethlehem teen suffered suspected minor injuries when the vehicle she was riding in struck a deer on State Route 28 in Redbank Township.<\/p>\n
The Pennsylvania State Police in Clarion said the crash occurred around 5:17 p.m. on November 24.<\/p>\n
According to the report, 39-year-old Kristina L. Wegley, of New Bethlehem, was traveling north in a 2015 Ford Escape.<\/p>\n
Police said a deer entered the roadway from the right side in low-light conditions. The vehicle struck the deer, causing disabling damage to the Ford, according to the report.<\/p>\n
Police stated that a passenger in the vehicle, 18-year-old Chalsea M. Wegley, of New Bethlehem, suffered a suspected minor injury and was transported to Brookville Hospital by Clarion Hospital EMS.<\/p>\n
Kristina Wegley was not injured in the crash.<\/p>\n
