The latest Pittsburgh-area location, joining Shake Shacks at The Strip District Terminal, Pittsburgh Airport, and in North Fayette Township, is slated to open Thu., Dec. 4 at 10:30 a.m. in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meridianpgh.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Meridian development<\/a>. Opening day guests receive a custom mini Shake Shack tote, and $1 from every sandwich sold will benefit 412 Food Rescue. Standing Wave Coffee opened near the corner of Sarah Street and S. 21st Street last month. The Pittsburgh Business Times <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/pittsburgh\/news\/2025\/08\/18\/the-grant-bar-and-lounge-listed-for-sale-for-1-5m.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reported<\/a> the historic property was first listed for sale in August with an asking price of $1.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Taqueria Acosta<br \/>520 E. Highland Ave., East Liberty. <a href=\"https:\/\/patronmexicangrills.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">patronmexicangrills.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The East Liberty Patron location has permanently closed. <a href=\"https:\/\/triblive.com\/lifestyles\/food-drink\/patrons-east-liberty-liquor-license-transferred-to-hard-rock-cafe-international\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TribLive<\/a> confirmed the closure after seeing the Mexican restaurant intermittently boarded up with tan paper covering the windows and Pittsburgh Redditors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/pittsburgh\/comments\/1o9q2cg\/patron_in_east_liberty_closed\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">noting<\/a> it has been marked as closed on Google. TribLive also reports a posted sign indicates Patron\u2019s liquor license has been transferred to the address of the former Hard Rock Cafe in Station Square, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pghcitypaper.com\/arts-entertainment-2\/remembering-the-pittsburgh-hard-rock-cafe-as-it-prepares-to-close-27426921\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">closed in February<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The reason for the closure is unclear. Patron\u2019s location in Monroeville is also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/pittsburgh\/comments\/1o0pdn3\/patrones_in_monroeville_temporarily_closed_does\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">listed as \u201ctemporarily closed\u201d<\/a> on Google.
