This effort follows months of demonstrations and calls for transparency.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the Erie County Detective\u2019s Office and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the case. Erie County District Attorney Beth Hirz has stated she will decide what happens next based on their findings and the law.<\/p>\n<p>We reached out to the DA\u2019s office to ask if there is a timetable for releasing findings or a ruling in the case.
