On Saturday, December 6th, \u201cNot Your Average Holiday Parade, YaJagoff!<\/a>\u201d takes place between 10am \u2013 11:30am with brief 10-15 minute stops at 5 Downtown Pittsburgh locations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year, the Jags teamed up with the downtown powerhouses at the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership for a unique spin on the already unique parade.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe couldn\u2019t let the fake parade concept subside, and our friends at the PDP are masters of activations,\u201d said YaJagoff creator John Chamberlin. \u201cThe little touches and surprises this year epitomize local Pittsburgh.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"YaJagoff!<\/p>\n

The Burgh Bus, a Pittsburgh-themed party bus, will load a few famed Yinzer passengers at the Convention Center, then progress along the route with brief stops at each of the locations.<\/p>\n

At each stop, various Pittsburgh personalities, including Desarae Legros of Cooking, Comedy, Chaos, Ellen Kotzin of Pittsburgh Hills, The Kahone Concept<\/a>, and Chris Beers of Grandpa Joe\u2019s will unload from the bus and serve as a pop-up holiday party.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Leading the charge are resident Jag Marshalls, John and Rachael, who will interview downtown business owners and other personalities for 5-10 minutes at each location.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then, the passengers will reboard the bus and do it all over again at the next destination, spreading holiday cheer to jags all over downtown.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The parade route will progress as follows:<\/p>\n

The Gingerbread House display outside of the City County Building<\/p>\n

PPG Ice Rink \u2013 4, PPG Place, Third Ave Suite 100<\/p>\n

Market Square<\/p>\n

Holiday Kids Play & Selfie Garden \u2013 Ft. Duquesne Blvd<\/p>\n

Santa\u2019s House \u2013 Heinz Hall Courtyard<\/p>\n

The best way to enjoy the full \u201cparade\u201d is to head to stop number one, then after the Burgh Bus departs, walk to the next parade route stop (repeating for each of the 5 locations).\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you can only visit one or two stops that\u2019s fine, too! The planned timing will have \u201cNot Your Average Parade\u201d arriving at the Gingerbread House display at 10am, PPG Ice Rink at 10:25am, Market Square at 10:45am, Ft. Duquesne at 11:10-ish, and Santa\u2019s house at 11:30-ish.<\/p>\n

Expect parade fanfare, like candy and stickers of course, while learning about where to spend family fun time over the holidays in Downtown Pittsburgh.\u00a0<\/p>\n
