The Pennsylvania Game Commission says it\u2019s seeking tips in the illegal killing of a white-tailed deer in Northampton County.<\/p>\n
A post on the commission\u2019s Operation Game Thief Facebook <\/a>page says the deer was shot with a firearm from an ATV using a spotlight.<\/p>\n The incident occurred, and the deer was found, along Cider Press Road near Williams Township Elementary School in Williams Township, according to the post.<\/p>\n A state game warden\u2019s investigation suggests two ATVs were observed driving and shooting at deer on the school property about 3 a.m. Sunday. <\/p>\n Pennsylvania\u2019s regular firearms season for whitetails opened Saturday.
