The annual campaign encourages local businesses to host toy collection boxes, challenging customers to fill them with gifts for less fortunate families.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s celebration will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chico\u2019s Travelers Inn in Fairview, PA. The event will feature a DJ, family-friendly activities, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Marines arriving around 7:00 p.m. to collect the donated toys.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past two years, the campaign has collected more than 900 toys, with last year\u2019s total reaching about 800. This year, 19 local businesses are participating, and some have already filled multiple boxes.
