BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Bethlehem is getting ready for America’s 250th birthday next year.<\/p>\n

Members of the group “America250PA<\/a>” were at Moravian University on Wednesday, where they unveiled a custom-designed bell sculpture.<\/p>\n

It was created by local artist Ted Colegrove, and is part of a statewide public art series commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.<\/p>\n

“Local communities are the lifeblood of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, so to be able to tell those stories on a more localized level, which are the contributions to the overall, Pennsylvanian-American story,” said Cassandra Coleman, executive director of America250PA.<\/p>\n
