{"id":51713,"date":"2025-12-04T02:57:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-04T02:57:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/51713\/"},"modified":"2025-12-04T02:57:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T02:57:07","slug":"pittsburgh-cultural-district-announces-details-for-2026-first-night-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/51713\/","title":{"rendered":"Pittsburgh Cultural District announces details for 2026 First Night celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 Pittsburgh has released details about its 2026 New Year\u2019s Eve celebration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The New Year\u2019s Eve parade at Pittsburgh\u2019s First Night, sponsored by Highmark, will look different this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Instead of one single parade route, performers will roam throughout the 14-block Cultural District.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">This plan is an adjustment to construction in Downtown Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">It\u2019s the city\u2019s 32nd annual celebration, which will feature family-friendly activities, magic shows, ice carvings, dance, theater, visual arts, comedy, magic, and two fireworks shows.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Fireworks will be put on by Pyrotechnico.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">This year\u2019s celebration will debut the Dollar Bank Battle of the Bands.
