ALLENTOWN, Pa. – At Coca-Cola Park, the dogs are stealing the spotlight. Lights and Leashes allows people to come through, walk around with their dogs, and enjoy the lights.<\/p>\n

Everywhere you look; wagging tails, light displays and families strolling through the park.<\/p>\n

Anthony Daniel brought his dog Rocky, “He’s enjoying his first light experience, so it’s going to be fun tonight.”<\/p>\n

For many pet owners, tonight is all about making holiday memories with the whole family… furry members included.<\/p>\n

“I had friends who came last year who talked very highly about it, and then I saw the day of dog night, so it saves me from having to get a dog sitter, and it’s also good enrichment for her,” Steph Deibler says, “Anytime you can include them in doing things, I think it’s great.”<\/p>\n

Lights & Leashes has become a popular part of Illumination<\/a>, giving dog lovers a chance to experience a holiday attraction with their four-legged friends in mind.<\/p>\n

“We do a lot of events that allow dogs, and it’s Christmas and Christmas lights, and he loves the socialization,” Jillian Heymach says.<\/p>\n

Guests and their pets could meet Santa, ride on the train, and walk the field.<\/p>\n

“He loves the lights. He’s a good boy, actually,” Heymach added. “He’ll sit for me, he’ll turn and he’ll sit, and we got lots of pictures in front of the trees.”<\/p>\n

If you missed the chance to bring your pup out, you’re in luck.
