{"id":52033,"date":"2025-12-04T13:12:06","date_gmt":"2025-12-04T13:12:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/52033\/"},"modified":"2025-12-04T13:12:06","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T13:12:06","slug":"amazon-testing-30-minutes-or-less-delivery-in-philadelphia-nbc10-philadelphia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/52033\/","title":{"rendered":"Amazon testing 30-minutes or less delivery in Philadelphia \u2013 NBC10 Philadelphia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What if your Amazon orders showed up in just 30 minutes? <\/p>\n<p>For Philadelphians, that\u2019s the promise of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amazon<\/a>\u2019s new delivery service, bringing food and household essentials straight to their doors in record time.<\/p>\n<p>The company shared in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aboutamazon.com\/news\/retail\/philadelphia-Seattle-30-min-amazon-delivery\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">news release that it is now testing &#8220;Amazon Now,&#8221;<\/a> its 30-minute or less delivery service in parts of Seattle, Washington, and the City of Brotherly Love. <\/p>\n<p>With this new &#8220;ultra-fast delivery&#8221; service, customers can shop from a wide selection of items, including milk, eggs, fresh produce, toothpaste, cosmetics, pet treats, diapers, paper products, electronics, seasonal items, over-the-counter medicines, chips, dips, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Amazon said it is using smaller fulfillment sites to cut delivery time, and has strategically placed them close to where Philadelphia-area customers live and work.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This approach prioritizes the safety of employees picking and packing orders, reduces the distance delivery partners need to travel, and enables faster delivery times,&#8221; Amazon wrote in a statement. <\/p>\n<p>If interested, customers can check the Amazon app and the homepage for the \u201c30-Minute Delivery\u201d option in the navigation bar. <\/p>\n<p>Prime members\u00a0get discounted delivery fees starting at just $3.99 per order, while non-Prime customers pay $13.99. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"What if your Amazon orders showed up in just 30 minutes?
