{"id":52297,"date":"2025-12-04T19:15:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-04T19:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/52297\/"},"modified":"2025-12-04T19:15:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T19:15:08","slug":"police-man-attacks-another-man-with-hammer-pulls-gun-and-threatens-to-shoot-him-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/52297\/","title":{"rendered":"Police: Man attacks another man with hammer, pulls gun and threatens to shoot him | State"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HELLERTOWN, Pa. &#8211; Police in Hellertown, Northampton County say a man attacked another man with a hammer while the victim was holding a baby.<\/p>\n<p>David Corbett, 63, of Hellertown, is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and simple assault, according to a news release from borough police.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded to the 1500 block of Brookstone Place on Nov. 29 after the report of a man who was attacked with a hammer, borough police said.<\/p>\n<p>Police saw a laceration on the victim\u2019s head, according to the news release.<\/p>\n<p>Borough police said the man had a baby in his arms while he was being attacked.
