READING, Pa. – Reading Area Community College hosted a holiday toy drive today.<\/p>\n
Students and volunteers gathered at the Miller Center in Reading.<\/p>\n
Folks who signed up were able to pick up toys and holiday gifts for their loved ones.<\/p>\n
The goal is to give busy students some peace of mind this time of year.<\/p>\n
“A lot of our students work full time. A lot of our students have family members they take care of. There’s a lot going on in the lives of community college students, so this is just a way of us supporting them,” said Megan Schappell, director of special events at the Miller Center.<\/p>\n
