\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Vincent Lee Vicari, 68, of Lower Heidelberg Township, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025,<\/p>\n
at his home surrounded by his family.<\/p>\n
Vince was the loving husband of Saunja M. (Wilson) Vicari for 33 years, supporting her in all her<\/p>\n
pursuits and creating a wonderful life together.<\/p>\n
Born July 23, 1956, in Reading, PA, Vince was the son of the late Lindy V. and Jeanette N.<\/p>\n
(Ciabattoni) Vicari.<\/p>\n
Vince was a proud graduate of Muhlenberg High School, Class of 1974 and Villanova University,<\/p>\n
Class of 1978.<\/p>\n
Growing up, Vince was a multi-sport athlete, earning High School accolades in Football,<\/p>\n
Basketball and Baseball. After college, Vince was an avid slow-pitch softball player for 22 years,<\/p>\n
competing in the Reading City League and many travel tournaments.<\/p>\n
Vince was the owner of several businesses, including Speed Zone with his family and Paul\u2019s Tree<\/p>\n
Service & Landscaping with his son, Andrew. Vince was passionate about his racing endeavors<\/p>\n
and cherished his time collaborating with his father, Lindy, at the Reading Fairgrounds and<\/p>\n
Nazareth Speedway. He was owner of Reading Stock Car Association (RSCA), promoting<\/p>\n
numerous events and specials at various tracks. Vince, along with his family, owned and<\/p>\n
operated Susquehanna Speedway from 1997 to 2003.<\/p>\n
Vince\u2019s true joy was simply being with his family. They embarked on many travel trips together<\/p>\n
up and down the east coast, instilling a tradition of exploring and treasuring the opportunities<\/p>\n
to spend time together. He loved to play card games and trivia, talk sports, and could always be<\/p>\n
found on the sidelines at his children\u2019s sporting events, cheering them on and motivating them<\/p>\n
to be the best versions of themselves in everything they pursued. Vince also valued the many<\/p>\n
friends throughout his life who became more like family.<\/p>\n
Vince is survived by his six children: Andrew V., Margaret E., Lindy J., Peter J., Natalee S., Ellee<\/p>\n
H., of Lower Heidelberg Township.<\/p>\n
He is also survived by his sister Regina A. (Vicari), wife of late Robert J. Henninger, fianc\u00e9e of<\/p>\n
Michael Weckesser of Kent Island, Maryland and mother of Nicole D. Henninger and John R.,<\/p>\n
husband of Anna (Simpson) Henninger; and brother John L., husband of Michelle (Andrusiak)<\/p>\n
Vicari of Muhlenberg Township and father of Giavanna V.<\/p>\n
Visitation with the family will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8 at Holy<\/p>\n
Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. A Mass of Christian<\/p>\n
Burial will follow at 12 p.m. Burial will take place following the funeral service in Sinking Spring<\/p>\n
