{"id":53681,"date":"2025-12-06T11:26:06","date_gmt":"2025-12-06T11:26:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/53681\/"},"modified":"2025-12-06T11:26:06","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T11:26:06","slug":"thirty-two-girls-from-boulder-county-mead-erie-and-frederick-made-chsaa-all-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/53681\/","title":{"rendered":"Thirty-two girls from Boulder County, Mead, Erie and Frederick made CHSAA all-state."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following their two state championship bids at Aurora Sports Park last month, it came as no surprise that Broomfield and Holy Family softball led the BoCoPreps coverage area with CHSAA all-state nominations.<\/p>\n<p>In Class 5A, Broomfield\u2019s Ireland Heer \u2014 the CHSAA and Daily Camera player of the year \u2014 led the first team selections with her 18-1 record and 1.62 ERA. Her performance helped push the Eagles to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailycamera.com\/2025\/10\/25\/broomfield-wins-1st-state-softball-championship\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a 17-7 victory in the state championship game<\/a>. Kale Gilmore, naturally, won CHSAA\u2019s coach of the year honors.<\/p>\n<p>Lilly Smith (.515 batting average) also made her way onto first team for Broomfield, followed by\u00a0Avery Gines\u00a0(.435), Lauren Martinez (.500) and\u00a0Kiley Wheaton (.409) on second team.<\/p>\n<p>Fairview\u2019s\u00a0Julia Savage, who was ranked 29th in the nation with 12 home runs, also made first team.<\/p>\n<p>Monarch\u2019s\u00a0Kate Church, Erie\u2019s Braelen Heer and Sydnie Snook and Legacy\u2019s Prisca Smolens all made honorable mention.<\/p>\n<p>In 4A, after a masterful performance that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailycamera.com\/2025\/10\/25\/emmaline-humphreys-holy-family-softball-4a-state-crown\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">led her team to a 7-4 state championship victory<\/a>, Holy Family\u2019s\u00a0Emmaline Humphreys won the 4A CHSAA player of the year with a 19-4 record and .81 ERA. Her coach,\u00a0Moriah Nguyen joined her with that top honor.<\/p>\n<p>The Tigers also saw first-team nods from\u00a0Giuliana Magnetti (.325 average) and\u00a0Jaelyn Sandoval (.465), while\u00a0Dalynn O\u2019Blia earned honorable mention. Frederick saw the lone local appearance on 4A second team from\u00a0Elayna Fisher\u00a0(19-8 record, 4.37 ERA), then enjoyed two honorable mentions for\u00a0Brealea Stendel and\u00a0Ella Stromberg.<\/p>\n<p>Centaurus\u2019\u00a0Charlotte Crim, Mead\u2019s\u00a0Halie Gippe, Rosie Robuck and Ari Tovar, Niwot\u2019s\u00a0Anna Halverson and May Herrera all made honorable mention.<\/p>\n<p>In 3A, Lyons\u2019\u00a0Gretta Wynja\u00a0\u2014 the Times-Call player of the year \u2014 earned a first-team spot thanks to her sterling .513 batting average and 1.81 ERA through 143.1 innings.
