The Little Gym of Trexlertown<\/a>, located at 6900 Hamilton Blvd., will serve children through programs designed to support physical, cognitive and social development. <\/p>\nThe facility is owned by Matthew and Nichole Pitz, local parents of three who have operated small businesses in the Trexlertown area for the past five years.<\/p>\n
Matthew Pitz left a 30-year career in telecommunications to pursue entrepreneurship and bring the franchise to the community. He will oversee daily operations with support from his wife and their three sons, Matthew, 16, Mason, 14, and Michael, 11.<\/p>\n
\u201cTrexlertown and the surrounding area is a growing, family-driven community, and we wanted to create a place that reflects that energy,\u201d Matthew Pitz said. \u201cThe Little Gym isn\u2019t just about movement; it\u2019s about giving kids a space to build confidence, make friends, and discover what they\u2019re capable of. We\u2019re proud to bring something so positive to the Lehigh Valley.\u201d<\/p>\n
The facility will host a grand opening event on Jan. 3, 2026. Early enrollees can receive founding member specials, including $10 off monthly membership rates and a waived initiation fee.<\/p>\n
Programming will include parent-child classes for motor and social skill development, preschool and grade school gymnastics classes featuring tumbling and apparatus techniques, and birthday party packages with instructor-led games and music.<\/p>\n
The Little Gym uses a teaching philosophy called Three-Dimensional Learning that addresses physical, cognitive and social-emotional development. The international franchise has nearly 400 locations across 31 countries and was established in 1976 by educator Robin Wes.<\/p>\n
