The annual “Stuff the Bus for Toys for Tots” event in Pittston Township aims to ensure no child wakes up on Christmas without a gift.<\/p>\n
PITTSTON, Pa. \u2014 On Sunday, the annual “Stuff the Bus for Toys for Tots” returned to the Walmart Supercenter off Highway 315 in Pittston Township.<\/p>\n
County transportation authority staff, Marines, Santa, and Mrs. Claus were in attendance, gathering unwrapped toys, books, and games.<\/p>\n
“There’s more and more children in our area that need the toys and the gifts, so I mean we don’t want any child to wake up on Christmas without gifts,” said, LCTA Executive Director \u00a0Bob Fiume.<\/p>\n
Cash donations were also collected.<\/p>\n
