Eric L. Schultz, 57, of Bernville, beloved husband, devoted friend and craftsman, passed<\/p>\n
away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center,<\/p>\n
unexpectedly and far too soon. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Eric was a man defined by grit, integrity, and a joyful heart. He survived cancer early in<\/p>\n
life \u2014 a battle that left him stronger, more determined and with a deeper appreciation for every<\/p>\n
new day.<\/p>\n
Driven by a love for building and restoring, Eric spent 25 years working in construction<\/p>\n
and remodeling. Every completed project was more than wood and plaster \u2014 it was a labor of<\/p>\n
love and a transformation of someone\u2019s house into a home. He was at his happiest when he<\/p>\n
stepped back and saw the change he had made, and the satisfaction on a homeowner\u2019s face.<\/p>\n
To him, building was an act of service and a form of art.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 But Eric\u2019s artistic spirit extended far beyond his tools. He had a deep appreciation for<\/p>\n
tattoos \u2014 not just the ink on skin, but the stories, symbolism, and craftsmanship behind them.<\/p>\n
Years ago, he created his own artwork too, painting with a quiet intensity that revealed the depth<\/p>\n
of his heart. Nature inspired him most. He was especially drawn to wolves, because of his wife,<\/p>\n
Rachael \u2014 their loyalty, their strength, and quiet leadership. Their image appears often in their<\/p>\n
home and their spirit, in the way he lived and in the way he saw himself: protective, intuitive, and<\/p>\n
fiercely devoted to his pack.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Eric found peace outdoors, whether surrounded by the stillness of the woods, the sound<\/p>\n
of his dogs beside him, or the sense of connectedness that nature gave him.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 In his recurring video series \u201cSunday Morning Church with Eric,\u201d he shared his belief in<\/p>\n
investing in what matters most \u2014 ourselves and our health. He offered hope, encouragement,<\/p>\n
and a reminder to stay present with what truly matters.<\/p>\n
Eric touched people with his spirit. Those who knew him will remember his boundless<\/p>\n
energy, his quick smile and his uncanny ability to walk into a room full of strangers and make<\/p>\n
everyone feel like an old friend. He was a lifelong learner and always curious. His zest for life<\/p>\n
was contagious.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 On his journey, he was joined by his wife and partner of 30 years, Rachael. Though they<\/p>\n
did not have children, their hearts were full and their home was warmed by the loyal, loving<\/p>\n
presence of their fur babies \u2014 their beautiful Malamutes \u2014 who, in many ways, were his<\/p>\n
children. They were his joy, his companions and his daily reminder of the spirit he admired in<\/p>\n
wolves.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Eric\u2019s kindness, his determination, his craftsmanship and his capacity to light up rooms<\/p>\n
will be deeply missed. But his legacy lives on \u2014 in every home he renovated, in the stories his<\/p>\n
friends and loved ones will continue to tell, and in the hearts of all who were touched by his<\/p>\n
warmth.<\/p>\n
Eric is survived by his wife, Rachael (Hague) Schultz; their beloved dogs; his Mother,<\/p>\n
Gloria, brother Chris and countless friends and acquaintances whose lives he enriched.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 A visitation for Eric will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 6:00-7:30PM in<\/p>\n
Klee Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Avenue, Shillington, PA,<\/p>\n
with a Time of Remembrance to follow at 7:30PM to celebrate Eric\u2019s life, his spirit and the love<\/p>\n
he shared. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to The Wounded Warriors Project<\/p>\n
