SCRANTON, Pa. \u2014 On Sunday, A small crowd gathered at the Lackawanna County Historical Society in Scranton<\/a> to take a trip back in time through the lens and words of scranton native and author Daniel Packer Jr.’s new book, highlighting the Globe Store and Oppenheim’s Scranton Dry Goods Company.<\/p>\n

The two department stores operated in the city for decades before closing in the 1980s and 90s.\u00a0<\/p>\n
