The Pennsylvania State Police Troop E \u2013 Erie is investigating a case of Theft of Funds and Access Device Fraud involving Northwest Bank, located at 2863 West 26th Street, Erie County.<\/p>\n

According to authorities, the victim reported that while using an ATM, she discovered her account balance had dropped to only a few hundred dollars, with $16,000 missing. Investigators determined that a female suspect used the victim\u2019s name, account number, and a passport card to withdraw the funds before leaving in an unknown direction.<\/p>\n

Public assistance has been requested and anyone with information is urged to contact PSP Erie Station at 814-898-1641 or submit tips via the PSP Tips Toll-Free Line at 1-800-472-8477 or online at p3tips.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Callers providing information that leads to an arrest, solves a crime or cold case, or locates a wanted or missing person may be eligible for a cash reward. All unsolved cases have rewards offered for information that results in resolution.<\/p>\n
